*LAHORE – **Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif faces another setback from the PTI government.*
*The Punjab government asked the federal government to take action against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday.*
The Punjab government wrote a letter to the federal government for not extending the former premier’s bail. In a letter, Punjab law minister Raja Basharat government informed the federal government to approach the concerned court and trial court and ask them not to extend the bail of Nawaz Sharif.
“We have sent a letter to the federal government now they will take action,” Raja Basharat said. He added that the provincial government has recommended the centre to approach the court in this matter.
Earlier, the *Punjab cabinet* link has rejected the plea for extension in the bail of former premier Nawaz Sharif. It is pertinent to mention here that he is currently in London for medical treatment.
