NA adopts Senate recommendations on Finance Supplementary Bill

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Monday adopted recommendations made by Senate on the Finance Supplementary (Second Amendment) Bill, 2019, while reports of monitoring on the implementation of 7th National Finance Commission (NFC) award and reports of Auditor General for the year 2017-18 were also presented in the House.
Parliamentary Secretary on Finance Zain Qureshi laid before the National Assembly the reports of Biannual Monitoring on the Implementation of 7th NFC Award, for the period July to December 2016, January to June 2017 and July to December 2017 as required by clause 3B of article 160 of the Constitution.
He laid before the House the special performance study and audit reports of the auditor general for the audit year 2017-18 as required by article 171 of the Constitution.
MNA Rukhsana Naveed presented report of the Standing Committee on Parliamentary Affairs on the bill for further amendment in Elections Act, 2017 [The Elections (Amendment) Bill, 2018].
