Iraq court sentences 16 Turkish women to death for joining IS

An Iraqi court has sentenced sixteen Turkish women to death by hanging for joining Islamic State.
Judge Abdul-Sattar al-Birqdar told media that the central criminal court issued the sentences after it was proven they belonged to the Daesh terrorist group.All the verdicts are subject to appeal.APP/AFP
