Quaid Birth anniversary celebrations at Ziarat Residency

QUETTA (APP): A ceremony to mark the 141st birthday of founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was held at Ziarat residency on Sunday.

The ceremony was attended by Politicians, MNAs, MPAs, Senators, Speaker of Balochistan Assembly Raheela Durrani, IG FC, Southern Command Commander, others officials, teachers and students of different schools.
Flag hoisting ceremony at the Residency of the Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was also held.
Students presented national songs and tabluos to pay tribute to the founder of the nation. Aside from this, Singers also sang folk songs in the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Southern Command Commander Lieutenant General Amir Riaz said that the enemies of Pakistan would never be able to defeat us."Pakistan would become a great country of the world," he said.

He further said that those who have deviated will be welcomed whenever they join the national mainstream.
Commander Southern Command said law enforcement agencies' (LEAs) personnel will not refrain from rendering any kind of sacrifice in defending the mother land.
He said Pakistan was established after great struggle made by the muslims of sub-continent under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Quad-e-Azam was the man who took a firms stand for the creation of this country.
Earlier, IGFC Balochistan Major General said that sacrifices were made for restoration of peace in the province.

It is also being ensured the provision of health and education facilities to common people in the province, he added.
