Federal government forwards three names for the slot of IG Punjab Police

LAHORE – In a major reshuffle in the Punjab Police hierarchy the federal government has forwarded three names to Punjab govt for the slot of Inspector General of Punjab Police.
The names include Mohammad Tahir Khan, Khalid Dad Lak and Faisal Shahkar. Tahir Khan is currently serving as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) IG Police.
The authority to pick the most suitable candidate rests with Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar.
Prime Minister Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is massively reshuffling bureaucracy of the Centre and Punjab.
