PTDC development projects for promoting tourism in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (APP): Pakistan Tourism development corporation (PTDC) has initiated nine major development projects across the country in order to facilitate tourists and promote tourism in the country.
"PTDC's nine major projests were under construction in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Sindh, KPK, Punjab and in Federal Capital to revive tourism sector in the country", an official of the PTDC told APP here today.
An official said the projects were underway in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to be conmpleted at a cost of around Rs.25 millions and the Tourist facilitation centre in Gilgit-Baltistan would be in the process of completation at a cost of Rs. around 20 millions.
Moreover he said "Tourism Facilitation center at Quetta would be completed at cost of Rs.20 million.
He said,"Extention in Motel at Moenjodaro would be completed at a cost of Rs. 15 millions.
PTDC tourists facilitation center at Karachi would be completed at a cost of Rs. 15 millions,he added.
He said that for the establishmnt of Motel at Swat an amount of Rs.30 millions has been allocated while TFC/PTDC head office in Capital would be completed at a cost of Rs.30 millions.
