Frontier Corps personnel martyred in firing

QUETTA: (APP) A personnel of the Frontier Corps embraced martyrdom and one alleged militant was killed in a shootout in Sariab area of the provincial capital, here on Friday.
A spokesman for FC said here that a patrolling vehicle was on way in Sariab area when an armed man opened indiscriminate fire at it.
"As a result of firing, one personnel of FC embraced martyrdom," he said. "FC also retaliated against the attack and the assailant was also killed," he added.
The FC has cordoned off the entire area and launched search operation to trace the suspects. Further probe was underway.
