Major terror bid averted by CTD Punjab, Four terrorists arrested

*MULTAN **Major terror bid has been averted by CTD Punjab as Four terrorists were arrested along with weapons and ammunitions.*

* The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in a raid arrested four suspected terrorists in Multan.*

A team of CTD officials conducted a raid near Bahawalpur Bypass intersection and arrested four alleged terrorists, officials said.

According to officials, the accused had made a plan to target sensitive points in the area.

Six hand grenades, ammunition and equipment were recovered from the arrested men.

The suspects have been identified as Fazal, Aslam, Gul and Basit.

The arrested accused have been transferred to an undisclosed place for investigation, officials said.

CTD officials arrested an alleged terrorist during a raid in Abbotabad earlier this month.

Arrested terror suspect identified as Mujeebur Rehman hailed from Karachi.

He was allegedly involved in terrorist activities in Karachi and Balochistan, including target killings, bomb blasts and bank robberies, officials said.
