The captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam, was issued a traffic ticket by the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP).
According to media reports, Babar was fined for overspeeding. He was seen cooperating with the officer in silence, fully aware of his responsibilities as a public figure.
Earlier this year in May, Babar was stopped by excise officers at Lahore's Liberty Chowk. Officers noticed that his license plate was unusually small and did not comply with standard size regulations. They recommended that Babar replace his number plate with a standard one to adhere to the rules.
Excise officers also verified Babar's vehicle registration and tax documents. During this time, Babar maintained his composed demeanor.
