India: Heavy rains, floods kill over ten in Punjab & Himachal Pradesh states

NEW DELHI: In India, at least ten people have been killed so far due to heavy rains and floods like situation in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh states over the past two days.
According to media reports, Meteorological department has also forecast heavy rains in some other northern states over the next few days.
Reports said due to heavy rains dozens of bridges were washed away in Chamba, Kullu and Kangra areas of Himachal Pradesh and unassessed destruction of Kharif season crops.
