In another setback, Important PTI Leader join's rival party

In Karachi, it seems that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has delivered another unexpected twist to the recently formed alliance. Former PTI MPA Muhammad Aslam Abro officially declared his affiliation with the PPP on Wednesday.

Aslam Abro had previously been expelled from PTI due to a breach of party discipline in 2021 when he voted against the party's candidates for Senate seats from Sindh. This move comes shortly after Ali Gohar Khan Mehr, a former leader of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), also joined the PPP.

Additionally, Ali Nawaz Khan Mehr, Raja Khan Mehr, and Ali Anwar Khan Mehr met with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House after aligning with the PPP. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari extended a warm welcome to these new members.

The transition of Ali Gohar Khan Mehr into the PPP was further noted as he mentioned meeting former President Asif Ali Zardari. Furthermore, it has been revealed that the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam Fazl (JUI-F) is likely to establish an electoral alliance with the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) in Sindh in preparation for the upcoming general elections.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chairman of JUI-F, held discussions with GDA leadership in Karachi regarding the country's political landscape. Sources indicate that the political leaders discussed the formation of an electoral alliance to contest elections against the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Sindh.
