Federal Minister Murad Saeed makes history with Rs 100 billion revenue for NHA

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has announced to increase the revenue of National Highway Authority to one hundred billion rupees in five years.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Friday, he said 35 billion rupees target was set for the current year but we have doubled it. He said ten billion rupees were recovered in the last year as NHA has initiated self-accountability.

The Minister said NHA has been depoliticized and no transfers or postings are being made on favoritism.

He said the road infrastructure will be developed from the resources of NHA. He said 1275 kilometer western route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor was inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan and the present government is making it a reality.

He said PTI government believes in the establishment of welfare state.

Murad Saeed said the Prime Minister has launched Ehsaas program, Kamyab Jawan program, Sehat Insaf Card, shelter homes and Langar Khana program which are aimed to make Pakistan a welfare state.

Speaking on the occasion Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media lftikhar Durrani said people expressed their confidence in Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf in 2018 general elections.

He said eradicating the menace of corruption from the country is the manifesto of PTI.
