PIA to start Air Safari service for tourist

ISLAMABAD (APP): Managing Director Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Abdul Ghafoor Tuesday said that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) would start air safaris for tourists to promote tourism industry.
PIA revival plan to expand services across the globe
During a meeting with Director Marketing, PIA Dr. Khurram Mushtaq, he said the national flag carrier also restored abandoned routes of tourist destinations within the country.
Abdul Ghafoor said that PTDC and PIA were the top stakeholder of tourism industry and they could play effective role for promoting country's tourism industry.
He said that PIA, being the pioneer airline of South Asia had significant achievements in past and helped PTDC in achieving national common goals.
PIA to acquire 8 wide-body aircraft under revival plan
In the past, PIA was jointly participating in international tourism exhibitions not only by contributing participation expenditure but also by providing complementary as well as discounted air tickets to the participating exhibitors from Pakistan, he added.
Abdul Ghafoor said that PIA would play in-flight tourism documentaries on Pakistan in international flights to create awareness among passengers travelling through PIA.
PIA would also consider publishing joint promotional material and distribution through its offices abroad, he added.
PIA crew to have a brand new and uber polished look
Director Marketing PIA assured his full cooperation to PTDC and said that the proposals of PTDC were worth full, which would be implemented soon.
