Hand–grenades found from garbage

RAWALPINDI: Police have recovered four hand-grenades from the heap of garbage in the jurisdiction of Rawat Police Station here.
According to police, the children who were collecting garbage dumped at Chakbeli Road informed that four hand grenades were laying in the garbage.
Bomb Disposal Squad was called and the officials defused the hand grenades.
When contacted, the Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station (PS) Rawat Haji Tariq confirmed the seizure of 4 hand-grenades from the heap of garbage at a private housing society, saying that the hand grenades were locally made.
He said police was investigating the matter.
