Balochistan govt taking steps for promotion of health sector

ISLAMABAD: Balochistan government is taking concrete measures for promotion of health sector so that basic health facilities could be provided to all masses of the province without any discrimination.

The Director General Health Services, Balochistan told Radio Pakistan that for this purpose, 19. 4 billion rupees have been allocated in the budget of new fiscal year.

He said that the government has decided to reconstruct Provincial Civil Hospital in Quetta.

Completion of the project would cost 3 billion rupees.

Besides, the Chief Minister Health Insurance Programme would be launched in all districts of the province to provide free medical facilities to all deserving poor patients at a cost of 1 billion rupees.
