Norwegian Foreign Minister, Børge Brende, has stressed the need for a dialogue between Pakistan and India to settle it amicably.
He expressed these views while replying to a motion tabled by Knut Arild Hareide, leader of the Christian Democratic Party on Kashmir dispute in the parliament.
The Norwegian Parliament debated the Kashmir dispute and the mover of the motion Hareide lamented the gross human rights violations by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.
He expressed his concern and called for a Norwegian role in pushing India to come to the negotiating table to resolve the dispute in a peaceful manner otherwise it would escalate dangerously.
