Economic Survey 2016-17: Pakistan's economy size at $304 billion, per capita $1629

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar has presented the Economic Survey of Pakistan for the year 2016-17.
The Economic Survey for 2016-17 recorded the GDP growth rate at 5.28 percent, increasing the size of the economy at $304 billion and per capita income at $1,629 during the outgoing financial year.
The minister provided an overview of the economic progress made in recent years in Pakistan.
He highlighted the main features of the comprehensive reforms agenda undertaken by the present government, which has resulted in macro-economic stability and a 10-year high growth rate of 5.28 percent.
The minister will present the budget for FY 2017-18 tomorrow (Friday) on the floor of the National Assembly.
