RAWALPINDI, May 24 (APP): Maldevis Defence Minister calls on COAS Raheel Sharif
Defence Minister of Maldives, Adam Shareef Umar on Tuesday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters.
During the meeting, issues of mutual interest including regional security and defence cooperation were discussed, ISPR news release stated.
Maldives Defence Minister appreciated the successes of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and paid rich tribute to the martyrs of Pakistani security forces.
Earlier, on arrival at GHQ, the visiting dignitary laid wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honour to him.
