FATA MPAs to join KP Assembly in next elections

PESHAWAR: (APP) Advisor to Prime Minister Engineer Amir Muqam has said that representatives of Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) would become part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in 2018 General Elections.
He stated this, during a meeting with delegation of Khyber Agency headed by Member National Assembly (MNA) Shah G Gul Afridi here at his residence.
Amir Muqam said there is no doubt on implementation on FATA reforms after its approval from committee, Parliament and Cabinet.
Engineer Amir Muqam said that PML-N would form government in KPK after next general elections and FATA would be given prominent representation in cabinet for encouragement of people from there.
He termed the statement of a provincial minister unfortunate who did not have courage to accept the decision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to merge FATA in KPK as the same was being asked by him earlier.
Amir Muqam said that Prime Minister has honored the decision of majority and took this bold step which would be fulfilled as per commitment.
MNA Shah G Gul Afridi thanked Advisor to Prime Minister for his support in decision as per wishes of FATA people. He also invited him to visit Khyber Agency which was accepted by him.
