PMA Kakul to be extended in wake of Special Security Division for CPEC

ISLAMABAD: Federal government decided to extend training facilities at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul to meet the security requirements of China Pakistan Economic Corridor project.

 

As per details, additional training facilities will be provided to Special Security Division to protect the CPEC project. PMA Kakul training facilities are being expanded for the fourth time by the government which will further improve the capacity of this military training institute to train its officers.

 

Ishaq Dar chaired the meeting in Islamabad to review the financing issues to expand the facilities of PMA. Pakistan Army Quarter Master General Lt. Gen. Javed Mahmood Bukhari was present in the meeting and he informed Ishaq Dar about the financial requirements.

 

Finance ministry official said that in the first phase land will be acquired to extend the facilities while the responsibility of CPEC routes and convoy security has been taken by GHQ official in the meeting.
