Pakistani Pathankot investigation team asks for 7 day stay in India
NEW DELHI: Pakistani Pathankot investigation team asked for a minimum of 7 days stay in India to complete their work.

Pakistani authorities have conveyed the message to Indian authorities and claimed that both countries  have agreed to work together and the issue of stay will be resolved soon.

Visa has been granted to Pakistan Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and they will arrive India on 27th March.

JIT has prepared a questionnaire consisting of 50 questions for the Pathankot investigation.

JIT will enjoy the same power in India as like as in our own country.

Indian authorities will cooperate with JIT and allow them to study their investigation report and evidences collected by them.

JIT will also record statement of victims and examine the weapons used by the terrorists.

Seven security personnel and all the terrorists were killed in Pathankot airbase terror attack on January 2.

India claimed that terrorists were non-state actors and Pakistan based JeM is involved in the attacks.

This attack has derailed secretarial level talks between the two countries which were scheduled to be held in the mid of January.
