Terror bid foiled as two bombs defused by BDS

HANGU: (APP) The Bomb Disposal Squad on Friday foiled a terror bid while defusing two bombs plants in a container in front of a house in outskirts of Hangu district.
Incharge BDS Asduallah told media that they received an information about presence of a suspicious container in front of a house of Azam Khan in Kharsha Bandha area, adding that the BDS team reached on the spot and defused two bombs installed in the container that could cause loss of lives or properties in case of blast.
Meanwhile, Incharge Snap Checking Alam Zaib Khan said that on the directives of District Police Officer Shah Nazar, a team of City police station intercepted a vehicle registration number LOA-0829 near Insaf Hotel and recovered five kilogram hashish from the cavities of the car.
The police arrested an accuse Kamal ud Din resident of Parachina from the spot and started investigation after registering FIR.
