NSA Naser Janjua holds important session with British Ambassador to Afghanistan

Pakistan will fully support international community's efforts for reconciliation in Afghanistan and stability in the region.
This was stated by National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua while talking to British Ambassador to Afghanistan Dominic Jermey in Islamabad on Wednesday.
He said peace in Afghanistan is pre-requisite for stability in the whole region and there is a need for positive and pro-active role by Afghan Government which can fain achieving political reconciliation within Afghanistan.
He said Pakistan and Afghanistan were closed neighbors and Pakistan envisages cordial bilateral relations with Afghanistan, based on mutual trust and cooperation.
He appreciated the role of UK in maintaining regional peace and stability and cooperation in counter terrorism.
Prevailing situation in Afghanistan and matters concerning regional security and stability came under discussion.
The Ambassador was accompanied by the British High Commissioner in the meeting.
