Indian agencies involved in Pakistan's cyber espionage

ISLAMABAD: India has launched cyber espionage against Pakistan, warned the intelligence agencies

In an official communication issued to all federal ministries, departments, including provincial governments by the Federal Cabinet Division National Telecom & Information Technology Security Board (NITSB), the government has issued SOPs against such ‘malicious link(s)’.

According to the directive, “WhatsApp has recently launched a video calling feature. Because of the popularity of WhatsApp, hackers are taking advantage and sending false emails and message to install malicious app under the garb of enabling WhatsApp video feature.”

In this way Indian spies are penetrating the Pakistani customer mobile data and trying to have espionage of the mobile data.
