Sanjrani urges youth to continue hard work in every field for prosperous Pakistan

PESHAWAR:Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani said that the youth are the real builders of the nation and providing them due facility would bring Pakistan in the rank of a develop nation.

He said this while addressing a big gathering held in connection with the 3rd edition of the Deputy Commissioner Swabi Sports Festival here at Bamkhail Sports Complex.

He was accompanied with Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar, Senators Ayub Afridi and Fida Muhammad, MNA Usman Tarakai, MPA and Adviser to the Chief Minister Abdul Karim Khan, Rangaz Khan, Aqib Ullah Khan, Members of the Local Govt, Deputy Commissioner Salman Lodhi, AC Tabinda Tariq, AC Ihtisham Ul Haq, District Sports Officer Muhammad Tariq Khan more than 3000 players of 12 different games, officials and hundreds and thousands of spectators were also present during the colourful opening ceremony.

Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani said that he was impressed with the talent that Swabi District have and urged upon the organizers to continue such like activities in the future as well so that the talent could come up in the main stream at national level.

He appreciated Speaker National Assembly Asaq Qaisar for taking keen interest in involving the youth of district Swabi in healthy sports activities. Sadiq Sanjrani said he also wants such like activities for the youth of Chagai, Balochistan as well.

He said that youth are the true ambassadors of Pakistan who achieved good name for the country at national and international levels. He said that Swabi produced world class players and through these games more players would be come up at national and international levels.

He said now he is considering Swabi as his second home town and would pay more visit in future as well.

Chairman Senate Saqid Sanjrani announced Rs10 million for developing and up-gradation of the existing facilities and at a newly constructed Bamkhail Sports Complex. He also announced Rs 1 million as cash prizes for the position holders of the Festival. He asked DC Swabi to short-listed top 20 performers or more so that he could send them abroad to see much better and developed sports facilities.

Sanjrani appreciated promising cricketers Ahmad, hailing from Swabi, who was recently declared as Man of the Series between Pakistan and Australian U-16 team Series in Australia. Ahmad shined with both bat and ball. He also announced Rs.50,000 for Ahmad for his tremendous performance. He said Pakistan is full of sports talent and the youth of Pakistan believed in peace.

He said that we cannot like war. Pakistan is a peaceful country but if any misadventure from the Indian side would be made, it would be given strong response. He said Swabi is a land of Shaheed Karnal Sher khan and for any Indian aggression there will be more Karnal Sher Khan who know how to give answer to any one impose war against Pakistan.

Earlier, Speaker Asad Qaisar thanked to Chairman Senate for visiting Swabi and spent whole day with the people of the district wherein he also inspected the under constructing buildings of the University of Swabi, Women University of Swabi.

Asad Qaisar said that it is the 3rd festival in which the youth of Swabi are eagerly participating. He said that he was very thankful to be senators MNA, MPAs, representatives from the local government, district administration, District Sports Officer, his staff and above all Chairman Senate for gracing this colorful festival.

Asad Qaisar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given due importance and rights in the central government and the promises we have made with the people of Swabi and KP in improving education, healthcare and sports facility would be nearer to completion. He said that the construction of Bamkhail Sports Complex more youth would be come up at national and international levels.

He said steps have been taken for ensuring quality education, good health facilities and provision of playing fields to the youth. He said we are committed to fulfill all promises made with the people. Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said according to the vision of the Prime Minister Imran Khan to make a green Pakistan each of the participating players would plant a sapling in their respective playing areas so that to make a green Pakistan for the future generation.

DC Lodhi highlighted the steps been taken for smooth conduct of sports festival.On arrival Chairman Senate along with speaker, Senators, MNA, MPAs planted a sapling of Aquaria in the premises of Bamkhail Sports Complex by launching the tree plantation drive in Swabi.

The ceremony started with Holy Quran followed National Anthem, teams march past. The kids presented a display of Karate, gymnastic, PT show that largely enthralled the sitting spectators with stunning performances.

The Festival comprising hockey, football, volleyball, cricket, badminton, athletics, table tennis, karate, kabaddi, gymnastic and Chouck-Ball would continue for a month long.
