Over 14,000 motorcyclists issued fine tickets for not using helmets: CTO

RAWALPINDI: The City Traffic Police (CTP) have issued fine tickets to more than 14,000 motorcyclists for not using helmets so far, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muhammad Bin Ashraf said on Sunday.
Talking to media men here, he said following the directives of the Lahore High Court, the CTP had launched a special campaign in the city against the motorcyclists who were not using helmets.
Special squads of the CTP were on the roads to take action against the violators, he added.
He advised the parents not to allow their children to drive motorcycles without helmets.
