143rd anniversary of the Founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah being observed today

KARACHI: The 143rd birth anniversary of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah will be celebrated with love and respect in the largest city of the country on Tuesday.

The day in the metropolis will dawn with special prayers in Mosques for peace, progress and prosperity of the country and eternal peace of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah along with the members of Provincial Cabinet of Sindh will visit the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam to lay floral wreath at the Mazar-e-Quaid on December 25, at 10 am.

The government of Sindh has notified December 25 as public holiday for all offices of autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under its administrative control except essential services.

Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhter will also visit the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam on December 25, at 11:15 am to lay flowers and offer fateha on behalf of the people of Karachi.
