Resignations of lawmakers have nothing to do with Khatm e Nabuwwat: Saad Rafique

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that Khatm-e-Nabuwwat is not an issue in the country and the resignations of parliamentarians have nothing to do with Khatm e Nabuwwat.

Addressing a rally on death anniversary of his father, he said that every Muslim believes in Khatm e Nabuwwat. According to him, the resignations have nothing to do with Khatam e Nabuwat.

The minister clarified that they do not have any conflict with judiciary.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader went on to say that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa also supports democracy so they are on the same page.

Taking a jibe at Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, Saad Rafique said that Nawaz Sharif had accepted the decision of judges, so Qadri should also go to court.

He told Imran Khan and other politicians that they would not get anything if elections got delayed.
