Gas pipeline blown up in Dera Bugti

QUETTA: Unknown men blew up a 16 inch diameter pipeline in the Pirkoh gas field area of Dera Bugti district on Sunday.
According to Levies force, unidentified men had attached Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) with pipeline supplying purification gas to the Pirkoh plant from well No 54, 21, 15 which went off.
The gas supply was suspended to the plant from the well after explosion.
Law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the entire area and started search to trace out suspects.
Further investigation was underway.
