Rs 71 billion Peshawar Bus Transit project inauguration announced

PESHAWAR - Work on the construction of Rapid Bus Transit project is in full swing in Peshawar. In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent, Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Arbab Jahandad Khan said more than ninety percent construction work has been completed on various sections of the project.
He said it will be completed at a cost of about seventy-one billion rupees by October this year with the financial assistance of Asian Development Bank.
On completion, the project will provide inexpensive and comfortable transport facility to more than five hundred thousand commuters daily.
