ISLAMABAD (APP): The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing of the case regarding construction of Dasu Dam till Thursday.

The three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, comprising Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Qazi Faez Isa heard the case filed by China Power Construction Company.

During the course of proceedings, Advocate Salman Aslam Butt counsel for the China Power Construction Company said his client company was an international reputed company and it had constructed three gorges dam and other hydro power projects.

He said that his client company and two other companies pre-qualified for construction of Dasu Dam. After pre-qualification the project was referred to the World Bank for approval, he added.
