Pakistan strongly raises Kashmir issue at the UN yet again

ISLAMABAD - At the United Nations, Pakistan has called that continued denial of the right to self-determination to people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir was not only a travesty of justice, but also an egregious violation of the UN Charter.
The call has made by Pakistan's Ambassador to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi while addressing a special meeting of the Assembly to commemorate the international Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for peace in New York.
The Pakistani envoy also urged the international community to stand united against any attempts to undermine the sanctity of the UN Charter or to reinterpret its fundamental provisions to suit narrow aims.
