Nawaz Sharif seeks permission to fly off to London

*ISLAMABAD - Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has filed a petition asking the court to let him travel abroad for medical treatment.*
In the instant review petition filed on Thursday, he pleaded to the court to modify its earlier order and allow him to travel abroad. His lawyers have also asked the court about the process to extend his bail.
The Supreme Court granted Nawaz six months’ bail on medical grounds on March 26. However, the lawyers contended that in the verbal order, the judges said the high court had to be approached for an extension in bail.
However, this was not mentioned in the written order, they contended.
