Final phase of 6th housing, population census begins

SARGODHA (APP): Like other parts of the country, the 2nd phase of census has begun here on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Liaqat Ali Chatha inaugurated the census.
Brig Amjad Rasheed, DPO Sohail Ahmed Chaudhry, Col Farhan Qureshi, Additional District Collector General (ADCG) and Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Saeed Laghari, Divisional officer (Statistics) Muhammad Rafique and other census staff were also present.
The district has been divided into 51 charges, 411 circles and 3029 blocks, while 2174 field staff will perform duties, in which 508 supervisory staff 1666 data entry operators and same number of Pak Army personnels are taking part in the census.
The census will continue till May 24.
