ISLAMABAD: World Bank is likely to approve huge tranche of loan worth 50 crore dollars for Pakistan in June.
As per sources of Finance Ministry, World Bank is likely to approve tranche of loan in the Board of Directors meeting which is going to be held in June.
Sources claimed that the amount of loan would be spent to improve the business environment in Pakistan as well as to promote investment and financial institutions capabilities.
According to World Bank, allocation for development projects would not only improve with the improvement of financial affairs but government would not have to take more heavy debts from banks while it would become possible to provide loans to private sector on soft conditions in case of less dependence of government on banks.
