ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan says the government will remove allthe obstacles in the way of investors in the country.
He was addressing inaugural ceremony of Deli-JW Glass ManufacturingComplex, a Pakistan-China joint venture in private sector, in Islamabad onThursday.
The Prime Minister said the government will ensure ease of doing business.He said investment in Pakistan will be encouraged, which will help generateemployment opportunities and alleviate poverty.
Imran Khan said Pakistan wants joint ventures in private sector andestablishment of Special Economic Zones and transfer of technology underChina-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He expressed hope CPEC will prove a base to build future relationshipbetween the two countries.
The Prime Minister said he is looking forward to going to China next weekto further strengthen trade and economic bilateral ties.
He said the government will also bring foreign investment to the countryfor its housing project of constructing five million affordable houses forpeople.
Earlier Speaking on the occasion, Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing said Deli-JWGlass Manufacturing Complex is the beginning of joint ventures in privatesector between the two countries.
He said the Chinese leadership will encourage similar business venturesbetween the private sectors of the two countries. He said Chine would liketo be a partner in a brighter Pakistan tomorrow.
He said the Chinese leadership looks forward to Prime Minister Imran Khan’svisit to China next week.
