ISLAMABAD – Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has taken an importantdecision over the hike in electricity prices.
ECC on Tuesday temporarily suspended decision to further hike electricitytariff for one week.
ECC will now mull over hiking tariff in the next huddle schedule to takeplace in Islamabad next week. Finance minister Asad Umar will chair thesession of ECC.
Earlier, it was being reported that ECC might hike gas tariff by Rs2 perunit domestic consumers.
