The signals from India's Chandrayaan 3 mission sent to the moon have ceased. According to Indian media, the Indian space agency has been attempting to establish contact with Chandrayaan 3 for several days, but so far, no signals have been received.
According to the Indian space agency, extreme cold temperatures at the south pole of the moon have caused damage to the batteries, and it is hoped that after recharging, the mission will be able to transmit signals again.
Chandrayaan 3 landed on the southern surface of the moon in August, and data and images were being received from the mission for two weeks.
