National Executive Committee on Anti Money Laundering held important meeting

Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh chaired the 16th meeting of the National Executive Committee on Anti-Money Laundering in Islamabad on Thursday.
Director General Financial Monitoring Unit shared the progress on the FATF Action Plan including the update on the face to face meeting with the joint group in the current month.
She briefed that Pakistan has demonstrated robust progress towards the completion of its the International Co-operation Review Group (ICRG) Action plan irrespective of the challenges of COVID-19 by amending 15 laws to remove the shortcomings in accordance with FATF and Asia Pacific Group recommended actions.
