PM Imran Khan chairs first ever CCI meeting, important decisions taken

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan takes important decisions in the first ever meeting of the Council of Common Interest of the new government.
As per the media report the PM chaired the first meeting of the Council of Common Interests Monday.
A seven-point agenda’s discussed in the meeting, taking place at the Prime Minister’s Office starting at 11 a.m.
The summaries to launch a countrywide cleanliness drive and to streamline the regulatory functions of the federal government were presented for approval in the meeting, according to sources.
Other agenda points include the harmonisation of standards between the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority and provincial food authorities, the Petroleum Exploration and Production Policy 2012, the Workers Welfare Fund, Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution and the import of liquefied natural gas.
