Deal or NO deal: Nawaz Sharif will not resort to aggressive politics against establishment, judiciary

LAHORE – Amid rumours of a deal over his surprise and unexpected release in corruption references, Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will not resort to aggressive politics against military establishment and judiciary in the coming days.

Rather he would be focusing on the politics of grand opposition in Pakistan.

The recent silence of the father daughter duo is also meaningful in this regard.

As a first step he has sought Pakistan Peoples’ Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari help.

He would be giving tough time to the newly-elected government.

According to the sources, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) delegation under the leadership of Raja Zafarul Haq visited PPP secretary general Nayyar Bukhari at his residence to give Nawaz’s message for the PPP’s senior leadership.

The sources said that the PML-N leadership conveyed to the PPP leader that a joint opposition alliance can give a tough time to the federal government through opposition in and out of parliament. “The PML-N has also offered joint candidates in the forthcoming by-election.”

The PML-N delegation included Senator Chaudhry Tanveer, Tariq Fazl Chaudhry and Anjum Aqeel.
