CPEC: China offers huge investment in Sindh

*KARACHI - China has offered to make huge investment in the Sindh Province under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project.*
*Chinese industrialists from Chongqing Federation of Industry and Commerce will invest $400 million in several trade and industrial projects in Sindh.*
This was announced by a representative of the federation, Zhang Yang, at a press conference in Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) on Sunday. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the federation and office-bearers of the HCCI in China.
Yang said that the investment would be made in steel, textile and clothing, real estate, agriculture, tourism, education and training, municipal and solid waste disposal sectors. The Chinese official further said that the agreement was part of the China- Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
