Annual General Debate at the 73rd meeting of the United Nations General Assembly will begin in New York tomorrow (Sep 25).
Earlier, Secretary General of the World Body António Guterres today launched his strategy to finance the 2030 Agenda plan to “transform the world”.
The SDGs provide a framework for sustainable development that improves the lives of everyone, everywhere.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will lead Pakistan delegation at the General Assembly session.
He will address the session on Saturday, where he is expected to highlight Islamabad’s principled stand on regional peace and stability, including peace in Afghanistan and the long-running Kashmir dispute.
