KPK Counter Terrorism Department arrests terrorist with ammunition

PESHAWAR (APP): The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Malakand Rang Saturday arrested an alleged terrorist during a raid in Mornai area, in the jurisdiction of Balambut Police Station, District Lower Dir.
Talking to APP, Taroof Ullah Khan, an official of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Malakand Rang, disclosed that the police party along with officials of the security forces during a raid arrested an alleged terrorist Idrees S/O Sarfaraz of Mornai area, Balambut, Dir Lower.

He said the CTD officials also recovered hand grenade, pistol, mobile sets and motorcycle from the arrested alleged terrorist. He said according to CTD, the terrorist was involved in different terror activities. The accused has been shifted to unknown location for further interrogation, he added.
Meanwhile, the security forces also carried out search operations in different areas of Shabqdar and arrested over 25 suspects. Further investigation continued from the arrested 25 suspected persons, Taroof Ullah Khan confirmed.
