CM Sindh press conference in Sukkur 

SUKKUR: (APP) Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah on Saturday said that law and order situation in Karachi has improved a lot in recent months.

Addressing a Press conference here, the CM warned that corrupt officers would not be forgiven at any cost as government officers are servants to the masses.

He said that his government was giving special attention to the development projects including energy in the province but to achieve these objectives, we need funds for which provincial government was holding negotations with the federal government for payment of government dues.

Chief Minister said that Sindh government was being unnecessarily criticized over Thar issue, despite the fact that his government has provided sufficient health facilities in Tharparkar district.

In this regard, he said that the Sindh government had installed 400 Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants in Thar, adding that one plant was supplying sweet drinking water to 10,000 people.

He further said that best healthcare facilities had been provided for the Mithi district headquarters hospital with air-conditioned rooms and 24 incubators, which were not even available in Karachi in such a large number. Besides, he said, mobile dispensaries were also provided while 49 basic health units were set-up, which were providing health facilities round the clock.

He said that he did not come here to dismiss people but warned that he would not tolerate corruption and wants to make working envrionment better.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said that local body representatives would be given due funds so that they can serve the people in better way.

Sukkur is a beautiful city, the Chief Minister said adding that steps would be taken to maintain its beauty. He added that he would visit more places of the city to know problems faced by people.

He urged the locals population to play their role for the development of the region at individual level as CM cannot do alone everything.

To a question, he said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has disowned its founder.

The Opposition Leader in NA, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Provincial Minister for Tarnsport, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Provincial Minister for Education Sindh, Jam Mehtab Dahar were also accompanied with the CM.

Later, CM Sindh also inaugurated the Enterprise Resource Planing project of the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration (Suk-IBA) and it's Campus- II.

The Chief Minister who arrived here on two-day visits took to surprise the citizens while visiting various places without schedule. He mingled with the people and listent to their problems.
