As many as six thousand personnel including the Sindh Police have arrived so far in the federal capital city. The Sindh Police have been stationed at the Police Line Headquarters.
About 90 platoons and 2667 personnel of FC have also reached Islamabad Faisal Masjid along with their vehicles for duty, the sources disclosed.
Interesting, PTI chief Imran Khan is still not giving any confirmed date for his long march, but the government has decided in advance to call the army and Sindh Police for handling the protesters.
FC would be deployed in the capital city’s Red Zone to stop the entry of protestors in the high-security area, the sources added.
