China rejects India’s objections over CPEC

China has rejected India's objections over China Pakistan Economic Corridor saying it is an economic cooperation project not related to any third party.
China’s Minister of Transport, Dai Dongchang stated this in response to objections voiced by an Indian delegate at the virtual briefing on Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Transport for Global Development.
Dai Dongchang said CPEC is not related to Indian sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Munir Akram, highlighting Pakistan’s collaboration with China, said CPEC is one of the largest rail and road connectivity projects in the world.
