PM to perform opening of Kartarpur Corridor on Wednesday

Prime Minister Imran Khan will perform opening of Kartarpur Border Corridor on Wednesday.
This was stated by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain while briefing the news men after the Federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad.
He said the federal cabinet has also formally approved opening of Kartarpur corridor to facilitate Sikh community of India.
Fawad Chaudhry said visa free entry will be provided to Sikh pilgrims from India and a mechanism in this regard is being finalized.
He remarked that opening of Kartarpur corridor is a peace initiative of Pakistan to normalize relations with India because Islamabad wants normalization of ties with New Delhi to defeat poverty and this endeavor will be pursued with utmost sincerity.
The Minister, however, said that Pakistan can never forget the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
Fawad Chaudhry said the Cabinet has also approved that smuggled mobile phones will be blocked through Device Identification, Registration and Blocking System after 31st of the next month.
