PM Imran Khan launches Ehsaas Bachat Bank Account in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched Ehsaas Bachat Bank Account during a ceremony on Monday.
Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the programme would benefit the women from the backward areas and it would improve their life and economic condition.
He said that Ehsaas Programme is being considered the fourth successful programme. "No one has objected to the transparency of the programme," he added.
The prime minister said that financial inclusion of women will help in their mainstreaming and reduce the poverty. "In the wake of Covid-19, cash assistance was delivered to the deserving families in the most transparent and apolitical manner. If timely assistance was not delivered, the situation arising out of the pandemic would have added to the woes of the poor lot," he maintained.
He said that no nation can become great until and unless it takes care of the poor people.
