UN Confirms Recent Airstrikes Killed 14 Afghan Civilians in Afghanistan

The United Nations has warned that the civilian casualty toll from airstrikes by pro-government forces in Afghanistan continues to rise.
UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan in a statement said that in the latest raids occurred this week in Helmand and Kunar provinces, killed at least 14 Afghan civilians.
He reiterated all parties to the conflict must respect international obligations to protect civilians from harm.
